Privacy Policy

The short version

By default this website sets no cookies and runs no tracking. If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies on the banner, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. Decline, or ignore the banner, and nothing is set. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data. The only other personal data we hold is what you choose to send us when you contact us directly.

What we collect when you visit

Nothing that identifies you personally. The site is a set of static pages served from Amazon Web Services. Like any web server, the hosting infrastructure processes technical request data such as your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string. This is handled by our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes and is not used by us to identify or track individuals.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where in the world visitors are, and how they found us. It runs only if you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you decline, or make no choice at all, Google Analytics does not load and no cookies are set.

If you accept, Google Analytics stores two cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_*. They hold a randomly generated identifier that tells your browser apart from others; they do not contain your name or your email address. Both are kept for up to two years. Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage so that we do not have to ask again on every page.

Google LLC (United States) processes this data on our behalf, as our processor. The data may be transferred to the United States; Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: change your cookie choice. Withdrawing stops analytics from that point onwards; you can also delete the cookies themselves in your browser settings.

What we collect when you contact us

If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that email: typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you and to carry on the resulting business conversation.

We keep enquiry correspondence for 24 months after our last contact with you, and then delete it. If your enquiry leads to a contract, we keep the related correspondence for as long as the business relationship lasts and afterwards for the periods required by Bulgarian accounting and tax law.

Legal basis

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process contact correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our products, and where relevant, in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We set analytics cookies only with your consent (article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the cookie banner, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. Our email is provided by Google Workspace and our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services; both act as processors on our behalf and may store data in facilities inside and outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards. If you accept analytics cookies, usage data is also processed for us by Google LLC through Google Analytics, as described in the “Cookies and analytics” section above. We may also disclose data where we are legally required to.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, object to or restrict our processing of it, or request a copy in a portable format. Contact us at info@ekomilkspectra.com and we will respond within one month.

Where our processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time: for analytics cookies, use the “change your cookie choice” link above. If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
